spinach with pine nuts
This simple recipe is one of the best possible ways to enjoy spinach.
spinach
2 - 3 shallots finely chopped
2 - 3 minced garlic cloves
butter
salt, freshly ground black pepper, freshly ground nutmeg
dry roasted pine nuts
Parmesan cheese freshly sliced into thin flakes
olive oil
Melt the butter in a large frying pan and sauté the shallots and garlic. add the dripping wet spinach
and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Cook the spinach for a few minutes until it all wilts.
Transfer the spinach to a warm platter. Sprinkle with olive oil, pine nut and Parmesan flakes. Serve
