chili ice cream
250 ml (1 cup) heavy cream
250 ml (1 cup) milk
180 g (6 oz) sugar
5 egg yolks
1 tablespoon each very finely chopped red and green chili
Bring the milk and cream to a boil, add sugar and stir until completely dissolved.
Add the well beaten egg yolks. Reheat the mixture but don't let it come to a boil! Stir
in the chili and set aside to cool and then let the ice cream machine do the rest.
