herbs, spices and seasonings
Unless otherwise specified I always use fresh
herbs and freshly ground spices. If you can't find fresh herbs in your area
try growing them yourself. Most herbs are easy to cultivate and require little
care. A sunny spot in your garden, on the terrace or window sill will do. It's
worth the effort; fresh herbs are, in most cases, much more aromatic than the
dried versions.
